According to the Toltec/Aztec calendar, which describes larger cycles of time or "Suns" than the Mayan calendar, humanity has been in a transition that started in 1991, moving from the 5th to the 6th Sun. During this shift the influence of both Suns is equally present, as is the case when the seasons change.
